This is the clip that is 99% always broken, located behind the battery on the firewall. It's job is to hold the rear battery rod so the rod doesn't fall down when servicing the battery. You rarely ever see these still intact, and it sure is annoying chasing the rod around. For such a minimal cost, why not replace it?
